Peggy moved to Spokane in 1983 and worked at an advertising agency whilst she attended Whitworth College. Upon earning her diploma in Communications and Marketing, she started an eighteen yr career from the Graphic Arts Market selling printing paper for Global Paper in Washington and Idaho.
